Martin Jones

Martin has led the Broughton Community Choir since 2008, when it was founded. Keen to encourage a fun and supportive environment for all singers, Martin leads and guides the choir to achieve high quality performances.

Locally Martin also directs the Eccleshall Community Band. He works as a piano teacher in primary schools and privately, with pupils of all ages. He is also musical director of Ashton Sings, a community choir near Chester.  

 

Martin enjoys composing and arranging music for many of his ensembles and is also one half of the Jones and Jones composing duo. 

 

Martin is a driving force in community music making. He is a founder member of the BEAM musical charity and creator / coordinator of the Eccleshall Schools Music Festival, a day of workshops and performances enjoyed by children from local towns and villages including Newcastle under Lyme and Stone.
